Grace and Peace be upon you in the Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I woke up this morning with you in my heart. As I was praying for all my partners and friends (including you) the Spirit of the Lord impressed it upon my heart to tell that you are a project in the hand of God. Yes, you are!
This implies that no matter what you are experiencing presently, God is not through with you yet; He is working on you, in you, through you, and for you. When God is through with you, a better you will appear. Can you say amen to that? A better you is in the making!
Paul the apostle was right on the point when he wrote the following words in his beautiful letter to the Philippians:
“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now; Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace. For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.
And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God” - Phil 1:3-11 (KJV)
The above passage offers us hope and encouragement. It reminds us that God is the one at work in our lives, not the devil. It also assures us that God will complete the good work he has started in us. A project often comes in several phases. Sometimes it will get ugly first before it becomes beautiful. A project at some point may receive some hard knocks but it is ultimately intended to bring out the best of the project. You may be receiving some hard knocks at the moment but you don’t have to worry about them because God will use those hard knocks to bring out the best of you.
I also want to let you know that God does not abandon his projects. Whatever he starts he is able to complete and he will complete. God will not abandon you. He promised and said “I will be with you always”. Sometimes in the journey of life you may experience some lonely and dreadful moments but I want you to remember always the words of David when he said “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me” - Psalms 23:4 (KJV).
Now that you know you are a project in the Hand of God, what should be your response? In Phil 1:9-11, Paul said the Philipians:
“And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God” .
That’s powerful! He said:
1. Walk In Love
Let your love abound yet more and more. Don’t let the devil sow bitterness, hate, or evil in your heart. Sometimes some people don’t know how to respond in difficult times, they blame God for their situations, they become bitter against the people around them and transfer blame on their family members. No matter what we go through our response should not be hate but love.
2. Grow In Understanding
This is not the time to despair. Don’t let your pain take you away from God. Instead let your pain bring you closer to God. Many times, good people get discouraged in life not because there is no answer to their problems but because they lack understanding. No matter the circumstance it is absolutely important to spend time daily in prayer. When we pray, especially when we pray in the Holy Ghost, it helps us to depend more and more on God and to spiritually discern the things that God has prepared for us. Effective prayer connects you with God and releases the peace of God upon your heart. Just as it is important to spend time in prayer, so it is absolutely important to spend adequate time on the word of God. The promises of God are reassuring. Your faith leaps and your understanding expands every time you catch a revelation from God’s word. Don’t let your pain disconnect you from the word of God.
My friend, you are a project in the hand of God; God is not through with you yet. Your best days are before you and not behind you. God is turning things around for your Good. What the enemy meant for evil, God will turn around for your good in the name of Jesus!
Thank you and God bless you.
